American Nurses Association’s National Awards honors outstanding nurses and champions whose dedication and achievements have contributed significantly to the nursing profession and health care. This year’s recipients embody the anchors chosen to frame the Year of the Nurse: excellence, leadership and innovation. Three registered nurses were inducted into ANA’s Hall of Fame. Nine registered nurses and one nurse champion received ANA’s Honorary Awards and three registered nurses received ANA’s President’s Awards. The virtual ceremony was held on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2020.
